Gaming Floor and Slot Machines
Our gaming floor at 620 Terminal Avenue in downtown Nanaimo, British Columbia holds over 350 slot machines. Denominations start at 1 cent, so you can keep bets small or move up when you feel comfortable. On selected titles, floor jackpots can climb as high as $200,000.
Machines are grouped by denomination and game type, so it is easier to find what you like. Clear walkways run between banks of slots, with overhead signs showing game themes, jackpot levels and machine categories. If you are unsure where to start, our team will point you in the right direction or walk you through how payouts work.
All of our slots run on a simple cash-and-voucher system. You insert bills or casino vouchers into the bill acceptor on the front of the machine. When you are finished, the machine prints a voucher with your remaining balance or winnings. That voucher can go into another machine or be cashed out at the cashier cage. We do not use card-based or account-based slot play, just the straightforward voucher model.
Table Games and Betting Limits
We spread six live table games during operating hours. On the floor you will find Ultimate Texas Hold’Em, Blackjack, Roulette, Four Card Poker, EZ Baccarat and Fortune Pai Gow. Every table shows its minimum and maximum bet limits on a sign, and these can shift slightly by game and by time of day.
Our blackjack tables seat up to seven players, and in our house rules the dealer hits on soft 17. Ultimate Texas Hold’Em runs with the standard Ante and Blind bets plus the optional Trips bonus wager on strong hands. For Roulette, we use American-style wheels that include both the 0 and 00 pockets.
In EZ Baccarat the usual commission on Banker wins is removed. Instead, certain winning results pay out at adjusted odds, and those details are explained on the table layout. Table minimums usually sit between $5 and $25 depending on the game, with maximums clearly posted at each betting position.
Here is a quick overview of typical limits and seating:
| Game Type | Minimum Bet | Maximum Bet | Players Per Table |
|---|---|---|---|
| Blackjack | $5-$10 | $500-$1000 | 7 |
| Ultimate Texas Hold’Em | $5-$10 | $500 | 6 |
| Roulette | $5 | $500 inside/$1000 outside | 8 |
| Four Card Poker | $5 | $500 | 6 |
| EZ Baccarat | $10 | $1000 | 7 |
| Fortune Pai Gow | $5 | $500 | 6 |
If you are new to any of these games, feel free to ask the dealer before a hand starts. They can explain basic procedures and when bets need to be placed, as long as the game keeps moving.
Poker Room
Our dedicated poker room focuses on $1/$3 No Limit Texas Hold’Em cash games. Tables open whenever there are enough players signed up at the poker desk, so game availability depends on live demand. The room is set away from the main gaming floor to keep it quieter and easier to follow the action.
To join a game, stop by the poker desk when you arrive. You will be asked for valid ID and can buy your chips there before sitting down. The rake structure and any additional rules are posted at the desk for everyone to review. We also run tournament events on specific dates, including the Boxing Day Slot Tournament on December 26, 2025, from 12 PM to 8 PM.
Poker room hours usually follow the overall casino schedule, but on slower nights tables may close earlier if there are not enough players. For the most up-to-date information on current poker games or waitlists, call us at (250) 753-3033 before you head over.
Operating Hours
Our regular hours are:
- Sunday through Thursday: 10:00 AM to midnight
- Friday and Saturday: 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM
